Measure Twice

Here is what I saw 

written on the marker board

in the kitchen:

1  2  16  16

I could tell who's handwriting it was

and I asked him,

"Andrew, what is this about?"

He said, "Isaiah told me to write down that measurement

so we wouldn't forget it."

"Oh?" I said.  "And what was the measurement?"

His response, seasoned with just a hint of respectful 'duh':

"One and two sixteenths."

(please bear in mind that I know this would be an improper fraction.  I just thought it was funny and wanted to share it with you!)
